Viola Solo Act Taking her inspiration from the blockbuster animated film “300”, Mariana Vozovik has created a fairylike character called “Elektra” for this solo performance. Dressed in a white costume that recalls the depths of the cosmos itself, this graceful artist dances across a rotating moon landscape disc. Suddenly, as if by magic, she produces the five-string electric viola that she commissioned to be built in England especially for this act. As this petite oracle plays and dances, she weaves elements of mystic parable into her performance.
Aerial Straps Viola Act Our Aerial Straps Viola Act offers a unique combination of several disciplines united as one extraordinary performance. While an angelic violist wearing a fluttering white dress plays an electric viola and floats gently above a rotating disc, an aerial-straps artist performs aerial acrobatics, adding a completely new dimension to the performance. Music, dance and acrobatics merge into an inspired performance, lulling the audience into a dreamy, weightless world.
