Direction
We have taken an extensive look at the work we have done in the last twenty years, as well as at the literature, research, experiences, discussions and collaborative creative work that have shaped us as artists and musicians. Turning to all of this, and our artistic and musical roots, we are now entering the realm of the circus performance.
To give you a taste of this, we would like to introduce you to two of our creations: “White Gothic”, presented by an artistic acrobatic quartet (under the direction of Valeri Jemez), and “FANTESCA”, a unique juggling performance by Irina Bondarenko.
“White Gothic” premiered in 2011 at the International Festival of Circus Arts in Izhevsk, Russia, where the act received the bronze medal. The idea behind “White Gothic” is a presentation of masculine strength in which the style and character of the performance represent the complete opposite of today’s familiar “gothic” style.
“FANTESCA” is an interpretation of the heroine from the renowned Italian “Commedia dell’Arte” transposed into the world of the circus. Irina Bondarenko slips into the role of Fantesca in a performance that touches audiences both through her physical beauty and the beauty of her inner world. She makes our finest emotions resonate with the same almost magical ease with which she demonstrates her juggling expertise.
